STORYTIME 2020
Once again we have had the pleasure to be told another lovely story by Alan Kennedy with his StoryTime. Students from 1st, 2nd ESO and 1st PMAR have enjoyed the story called The Strange Village.
Those students who had the chance to see or even take part in the storytelling have shown interest in keeping this inspiring and motivating activity next school year.
The English Department would like to thank the teachers’ involvement as they made it possible to organise the activity and to congratulate the participants as well as the excellent actors who brought the story characters to life.

Un año más hemos contado con la presencia de la compañía StoryTime dirgida por Alan Kennedy. El alumnado de 1ºESO, 2º ESO y 1º PMAR ha disfrutado con la puesta en escena de una nueva historia The Strange Village.
Los estudiantes que vieron y participaron en el cuenta cuentos han mostrado su interés en mantener esta actividad tan motivadora e inspiradora de cara al próximo curso.
El Departamento de Inglés aprovecha para agradecer la implicación de los profesores de otras áreas que cedieron generosamente sus horas para la realización de esta actividad y felicita al alumnado participante y a los excelentes actores que dieron vida a los diferentes personajes de ese pueblo tan extraño.

La historia nos ha gustado pero nos hubiera gustado que sacase a otros al escenario. De todas formas, ha sido un rato entretenido al ver a los compañeros disfrazados.
The story was good, but we would have liked to have more actors. We had a great time!!

Su inglés era fácil de entender con lo que nos ha sido fácil de seguir la historia. Nos gustó la forma con la que cuenta la historia porque la hace más cómica. Se le daba muy bien tocar los instrumentos, pero el que más nos gustó fue la gaita. A Diego le gustó bastante la historia porque participó.

Era divertido pero daba mucho corte tener que salir disfrazado aunque te daba risa y estaba muy bien. La historia estaba muy elaborada.

Nos ha gustado mucho que nos sacara al escenario. Ha sido una actividad muy graciosa y divertida. ¡Nos gustaría volver a hacerla!
We liked this activity so much. We enjoyed being a character of the story and being on stage. It was so funny and interesting! We want to repeat next year!!

We think that the activity was very funny and interesting, but we didn’t like the story. We want to repeat next year, but with a different story.

Nos pareció muy interesante y divertido porque fue muy gracioso; pero a veces no se le entendía porque hablaba muy deprisa. Lo que nos hizo gracia fue que tiró agua y ver a nuestros compañeros disfrazados.
The story was very funny and interesting, but sometimes we didn’t understand it. We enjoyed seeing our classmates wearing costumes.

I think the storytelling of Alan Kennedy is very enjoyable for all ages. This storytelling is different to others because it’s very funny and many children can act out. The children wear costumes too.
Creo que el cuenta cuentos de Alan es diferente a otros. Otros cuenta cuentos son aburridos; en cambio, éste es muy divertido porque los niños pueden salir a actuar y disfrazarse. Además, es muy divertido verlo aunque no salgas a actuar.
